Drop the Hammer
May 28th, 2026 - May 31st, 2026
For the third-year running, Drop the Hammer will be visiting Mid Michigan Motorplex and it will be the second year in a row that they will be our host track. We are so excited to be returning to our home track while also visiting Northern Michigan Dragway for the first time on day two.
Highlights
Expansion
We know that the word has spread and everyone wants the chance to join Drop the Hammer and so for the May 2026 event we will be expanding our class options. There are several classes we are looking to add and those will be announced as soon as decisions have been made final.
Shoot Outs
The Quick 16 and The Close 8 Shoot Outs will be occurring again in 2026 with the iconic, "Hammer Drop."
Awards
In May of 2026, The Whiplash Award and The Overall Winner Award will be presented again.
